This under appreciated (in my opinion) masterpiece was a lushly arranged Sinatra / Gordon Jenkins collaboration from 1957, and until now you needed an old school gray label mono to really appreciate this. Some of Sinatra's best interpretations are here, he was in fantastic voice, if you've never heard this in mono you are in for a treat. Now it's better than you could possibly imagine. The fidelity is spot on and so clean, it sounds correct and that's how we want it! You'd swear this 55 year old recording was done last month! The vinyl is heavy and plays whisper quiet, packaging hugely upgraded from the 80's MFSL Sinatra issues. I hope the entire Capitol series gets this treatment. Worth every penny I spent! Hopefully some other Reprise titles in the future, say... September, Jobim, All Alone...
